Reviews for "WTC Tribute: Hidden Track"

That is the most metal thing I have ever heard.

High five!

Lotus responds:

Fucking right! :D

I realize I'm going against the grain here...

But that's nothing new.

This may have been more appropriate for YouTube, but it's here, so let's deal with it. While shockingly offensive to the shockingly offended, this, much like the Yakety Sax 9/11 video, highlights my favorite of mankind's methods of coping with tragedy: mocking it. Laugh at cancer. Laugh at AIDS. Laugh at rape. Laugh at 9/11. Laugh at the Holocaust. It doesn't make you a bad person, granted your irreverence does not translate into action. I know rape victims who make rape jokes. You know what that makes them? Stronger than any of you whiny fucking bitches will ever be, clicking away at the little plus signs below each other's self-righteous comments, assured in your moral superiority to Lotus here, idiot though he may well be.

When the worst things in life present themselves at your doorstep, don't allow them inside to haunt and terrorize you with their memory; turn them away with laughter and ridicule.

Lotus responds:

This wasn't submitted in a sense to be offensive to anyone actually, but to rather shed light on a different aspect of a tragic situation.

Rather than those thinking they can criticize the work submitted and tell me how bad I am for doing so, they could embrace the fact that its easier to laugh, than it is to hate.

well..

while its not funny, it did cause a wierd feeling.

well, you made a parody of a tragic event, so i will tell, ''wtf bbq''

9/11

was our own fault, we were warned by Mr. Binladen and his group about twenty years in advance, AND he gave us many chances to avoid that disaster, the truth is. The Neo-Conservative government that is/was the bush administration wanted it to happen. For personal gain. Read up on the project for the new american century my children. The Life of an american is one big conspiracy.

Lotus responds:

I've heard many stories about all this and while I support none, I would rather things like this not to be spread through my submissions.

I've nothing against what you believe in, but its a personal thing, I'm sure you'll understand.

Before you say anything,

I did not give you a 3 because this is so culturally insensitive that it makes people sick.

I gave it a 3 because all this is, is a 14 second loop of laughter as planes crash into buildings.

This is not at all creative, imaginative, or looks like any effort was put in it at all.
If the buildings had not been 9/11, it wouldn't have been funny either (however minor).

What I'd suggest, is to create a standard flash, and have a scene where the main character person turns on the TV/Computer/Newspaper/YourMother, and this is playing. Then it would have substance, and be creative.
