Nice work
Gives a weird feel to it like were back in the dark ages all over again trying to fight a giant shelled beast called Bowser, his siblings, and army of koopas and goombas that come after you for no reason. Sadly they all get crushed under Mario and Luigi's feet all the time.
The drums give a very soft and casual padded feel to the mix as the song continues on to play a wonderful beat to enjoy. The synth gives a very dark feel to the mix as if this may just be your last battle even though Bowser will always kidnap Peach. I wonder if he ever gets tired of kidnapping her only to lose her?
The bass line is subtle and wonderful on the ears. I like them quite a bit. Love all the funky beats going on too.
Overall, awesome cover beat.
