You should have used some hit effects. That would have added to the action.

Ok, the sprites and animation weren't perfect. But I really got a feel for the actual movie. I like how you included many familiar moments, like the pole and Neo running on top of the Smiths. The jumping got to be a little much, but as you said sprites are a little limited in what they can do.
Great, now I want to go see the movie again XD
