I played around for a while until I had over $10k, without being particularly careful, buying weapons and favors from the stripper, buying the lamp and music, but I never ran into anything difficult. I thought with the weapons and health & kills stats I might get into combat, but nothing like that ever happened. I bought a police radar, but I never heard a peep. I just kept on making more & more profit, without any effort.
But that's not entirely true; the interface was confusing. There was a 'tutorial' at the start, which apparently was just one section of text rendered in a small unreadable font. The cycling tabs for the windows was confusing, particularly for the shopping window. The shopping window was particularly confusing, I would learn, because not only did the tabs cycle, but they actually cycled through types of shops, and you needed to click the red arrow to reach the different shops within a category. To be blunt, the shopping interface was terribly obtuse. Then if for any reason you couldn't buy an item, nothing would happen, which was often similar to successful purchases.
In short, while the game had an interesting premise, nice art and amusing songs, this game suffers from sloppy interface design and no real challenge.
