Reviews for "Best Friends Forever(Old)"

Amazing, but...

Level 18 is impossible. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Send me a hint or something please?

other than that, this game is fun, creative, addictive and amazing. keep up the good work. 5 for you!

It was nice.

It's a really good concept and the game was entertaining. The characters were just a little slow and I kept clicking shift when I was going to jump because Z and shift are so close, maybe you can make the up arrow an alternate way to jump or something. But otherwise it was fantastic.

Good Game

Taking a break from level 18 to review, get a fresh approach at it. The game is in many way similar to "Lost Vikings", "Humans", "Lemmings", etc. Its a great genre and I think this game is a credit to it. I wouldn't worry to much about reviewers calling it a rip-off of anything. Making a game doesn't mean inventing a new genre, just making an enjoyable way to interact and spend a few minutes of your day and I think this game does that very well.

My only question though is with the control scheme. Left walks left, Right walks right, Down crouches, why wouldn't Up jump? It still functions wonderfully and stays consistent, just an odd choice.

Pros:

-Difficult puzzles, makes the player think
-Functional graphics
-Tried and true interface

Cons:

-A bit on the slow side

4/5

Good Game, But Not Without Flaws

The only major flaw I saw with this game is the characters being a bit on the slow side. Not painfully slow, but slow enough to be a little annoying, especially when one of them has to run across the level to join the others.

As for the rest of the game, it's pretty good.

Like Humans

For an "Original Concept", it feels surprisingly like Humans. An abandonware published in '92. The levels are relatively challenging after the first few levels and just like the abandonware, tend to get tedious. Maybe you should add different "skills" for your next project so they'll have to pool their abilities together and make an interesting action/platformer.

Overall, good enough to entertain for a few minutes but not really good in the long run.
