Room for improvement
I get a little tired of writing "Not bad for a first try" but this too falls under that catagory. I mean hey, you managed to comprehend a pre-loader, which is more than a lot of artists...
The graphics themselves weren't bad, but there was a -major- flaw in that they tended to disappear randomly.
So to conclude, not bad but to improve it - fix the bugs, add a background and sound, and maybe increase the 'paddle' speed too.
