Reviews for "3DX"

Addictive...

Addictive, but the honour goes to the inventor of Tetris. Still, your 3D approach made it interesting, although it hindered my ability to judge the fit. For example, your square looks like a rectangle by the time it hits the bottom. Try iso. I got up to level 9 before croaking.

Well

It is a nice addictive game, but the perspective is a bit difficult. At times, it is hard to tell if it will land one place or another. But still, it was fun.

A great game of Tetris

I really love what you did here with the 3/D element and visuals are really nice, a good tetris game here and showed the nice detail as always so really nice work here you have A great game of Tetris here and is showcased very well so I had some fun with this classic game and glad you presented it here on the grounds very fun game indeed.

Good potential

Firstly, this game displays decent control over the third dimension. What this game lacks is a little creativity. When remaking a game, one has to ask himself what the original game was lacking and how can I improve upon it. (Unless your goal is to bring that game to a new medium which can't be the case here.) What this game added was nothing but a perspective change which is initially tough to grasp, but soon your eyes adjust and you end up just playing tetris without music. On the upside, the presentation was smooth with a good layout and color palette. Nothing extraordinary, here. If Zian were to play around with the possibilities of a 3D tetris game then there might be something here.

Flashy, but the gameplay sucks

Almost like regular tetris, just a bit worse. At times it's hard to tell where the blocks will land, wich makes it more difficult in a bad way. It's not the fun "I'll try harder" kind of challenge, it's more of a "wow, that sucks, I'm not playing anymore" kind of challenge. Could also use some music.
