It was just a loop :P

You said you were inspired by XiaoXiao 4. Well, that game had a clear path through the level, and enemies who were more than copy-pasted Agent Smith lookalikes.
Plus, I discovered that all I had to do was press Tab-Enter to shoot the enemies. In some places, that was the only way to defeat the enemies before they did major damage. I mean, come on. They all shot at the same time.
I got a score of 200, going through the loop 4 times, before I got bored. I only stuck around that long because this is the same music used in Castle 3 - Part C, which was cool.

Well Zhu is an experienced Flash artist. I am not. Look at my other response... I was using Flash since Christmas of '07. The [Tab] button isn't really necessary in the hard parts if you're fast enough, and even if you do cheat, that's not the point.

Not bad, needs more stuff though, maybe health or weapon upgrades? Also, having all of the enemies show up at the same time is a bit much, once you get to the further parts, your guaranteed to get shot. This type of game is about reflexes and aim, not just how fast you can blow away the bad guys. Try to get them to pop out at different intervals, so you're always guessing at where the next one will come out. Thanks for getting me to level 8, I'll give you bonus points for that.

I did supply health refills, if you got far enough. When I made this game, I was trying to make something resembling Xiao Xiao 4, but I'm not all that experienced, so it didn't quite work out.
