but it just sounds like a perfect MIDI file of the actual version, nothing too bold, it's not really a remix

Every techno/digital mix of an original song seems to have an after beat, the beat repeats after the original. Personally I dislike it but as it is some videos set it right. The Treble needs to be higher, or the base. Maybe all of the whole sound needs to be higher...

1. Detuned saw leads are overused and should be extincted. They're to simple, to n00bish, and sounds like shit.
2. The ride is to loud. A 1/16 closed hat with stereo shifting would be much better.
3. The square bass sounds offtone. Which is bad.
4. The deep noise fx makes the compression crap out.
5. The unisoned saw in the beginning sounds far too detuned.
6. Good snare and bass drum though ^^ (if they're analog). Drum composition good in general (except for the ride and missing sixteener).
7. I expectected more effort on the pads.
