Reviews for "J@Ks Zoom Guitar Jam 4"

Nicely worked

Kind of sounds like the start to a Rage Against the Machine, Def Leppard, or Guns 'n' Roses song actually with just some long awesome notes like that. Sounds like you would be in a band or something.

On another note, should try a guitar jam session where you try to make some solos or such. Would be interesting to hear what you could do there too.

Overall, cool jam session again.

My friend (who shall remain nameless) is in a band. A very well known one at that. Hence the quality of his work. I'm not and have no wish to be. We both do some good solo work too, kind of goes without saying, but we found we just click together. I could not find a better jam partner. Anyway there's plenty more coming soon.
Thanks for the great review.

Cheers gamejunkie.

Damn

Really got some Hendrix vibes from this jam. That or Morello. Really digging it.

With skills like this, you should without a doubt be in a band. This would be an awesome intro to a killer piece. Would love to hear what kind of song would follow such an intro.

gamejunkie responds:

Thanks again. Some better stuff to follow. Full length songs included. The testing is over, so more good stuff coming soon.

Cheers gamejunkie.

Not my favorite

Really don't know what to think about this one. I like my audio to have some sort of rhythm, melody and structure. But this seems to be just a mass of chaotic noise. I understand it takes some considerable talent to produce said noise, and I think it would be better placed in making an actual song. Of course, this coming from a guy who's never picked up a guitar in his life, and has no idea what to do with one.

Melody, rhythm, harmony. Keep these in mind for your next submission. You could probably make a decent song with the elements you've presented here.

gamejunkie responds:

Thanks for the review, much appreciated. And I understand totally what your saying, but keep in mind, this was just an impromptu picking up of the guitar and letting it wail. It's basically 64 seconds of freestyle. Was trying to play something with a little bit of a Hendrix feel to it, that's all.

Interesting

I'm not a big fan of Heavy Metal guitar music, so I didn't like this as much as your other jams. Not a good way to start the song. I heard this song more as playing a bunch of random notes on the guitar. I'm glad you will be making full songs in the future, but please don't make them sound like this jam (no offense). This sounded like a solo you would hear in a live stadium, but in a bad way. I prefer the other jams I have heard so far. Overall, it wasn't really that bad, so a 7/10.

gamejunkie responds:

Thanks for the review. I understand they can't all be 10's. LOL!

Cheers gamejunkie.

That is some wacked up shit!

But in a good way. I mean holy shit man what are you doing to that guitar it sounds like it's on crack! Hahaha no but seriously this was a fun piece to listen to as well as you playing it.

gamejunkie responds:

Thanks Wegra. I was pretty wasted when this track got recorded, so yeah. And it was just a little freestyle jam session with friends, so whatever came out, came out. Glad you liked it.

Cheers gamejunkie.
