SOLANUM
very well known, the solanum virus enters your body through fluid transfer and uses the bloodstream to travel up to the brain, where it then mutates the brain's cellular composure and destroys the brain's frontal lobe by replication. at this point the heart stops, and the person is rendered dead. 1-5 minutes after death is reanimation. it takes roughly 24 hours from time of infection to turn.
SERENIUM
newly classified term for the "fast" zombies. it is believed serenium works in similar fashion to solanum, and produces similarly mindless undead. much unlike solanum, serenium embalms the body, allowing a much slower rate of decomposition, thus keeping rigor mortis at bay which in turn lets the zombies run freely.
ROMERO (we call it COD'S SYNDROME)
most of this virus is still in theory. Romero zombies are believed to be caused by a virus that lies dormant in the brain until death of the living person. infection upon bites is still unknown as to how the zombification process works. what makes Romero zombies unique is that even when a person dies of causes other than being bitten, they still reanimate unless the brain is destroyed from the way he/she died. being bitten by a zombie of this type only seems to speed up death, rather than introducing infection. in short, if you die, you get back up. we have dubbed this supposed virus "cod's syndrome", wich is an unofficial term.
