Reviews for "Before Mydnite 3 - F-777"

......

i want to make baby's with this song in the backround!!!!!

F-777 responds:

for some reason, that is so freaking awesome.
(thank you!!)

Amazing.

I was amazed when I first played this, the thing that caught my attention was the synth and the drums working together and producing eargasms everywhere. What do you use to arrange songs like this? :P

F-777 responds:

Thank you so much! I use FL Studio 9 XXL =).

Awesome

Rulz out of epicness. I love it!

F-777 responds:

Thank you!!! =D!

Epic.

The intro... I can't describe. It was just so amazing. The little stuttering synths carried in by the drums was brilliant. Then, you quickly dropped the base and started getting into the meat of the song. The sidechained bass you used right off the bat was a great idea. It helped to perfectly carry the song through.

The drums, were amazing. They never overtook the song, only helped to drive it onward and give in some force.

What I loved the most was the breakdown at 2:37. It almost made me cry, it was just so well put together and came at the perfect time. It was, exactly what the intro began the song of as: epic.

The only thing i can critique is that it may have been a bit too long. To me, it sounded like it should have been one more sidechained bass verse after that breakdown, and then finished off strong. Then again that may just be my style. Overall amazing song. 9/10 5/5

Thanks man!! Im glad you like it!! I didn't originally mean for it
to be so long but when its playing in the background at a party
or something it tended to seem way to short so i repeated a few
things. But i guess with a solid focused listen its really repetitive.

Thank you so so so much for the amazing review!!!

And before mydnite... there was F-777!

Nice man!

Really digging that analog bass you have going on in here, the groove and the overall feeling of the beat is great! Very danceable :D

This one somewhat reminds me of old school disco, idk why, it just does.
But then the piano comes in at 00:42 and I remember its good ol' F-777 :)

You somewhat always put your signature on everytrack you make and thats a big quality, one that I still need to work on myself :)

Technically speaking the track is perfectly neat, no mixing or EQing issues whatsoever, but I do scene some use of the overused Nexux VST in here and that surely compromises some of the track's integrity. (Particularly that synth that starts around 1:54).

I wont say "Don't use presents, make your own sounds" cause lets face it man, everyone knows you are a composer, not a sound technician, simply try to disguise them because Nexus uses a very distinguishable source wave sound for most of its presents so its pretty easy to tell you are using it, specially speaking about saw wave sounds and pads.

Overall its a very nice and enjoyable track, could have a bit more variation and I wouldn't say its something I have never heard b4, but it is definitely a good time man ;)

Good job!

I don't wanna affect your current score, so I'll rate a 5 don't worry ;)

Good luck with this and your future projects!

Johnny~

F-777 responds:

DANG IT nexus is recognisable still hehe. I tried masking it but i think
its just too solid of a VST to do that. Not very many sound making options
with nexus.

I did make the bass from scratch though which was a huge acomplisment for
me, i might not be known as a sound technician but over these last few months
iv really been expanding on that so im eventually going to delete nexus from my
computer completely hehe.

Thanks for the review! I really appreciate it man, honest oppinions and
good criticism! Hard to find reviews as good as this nowadays =).

Thank you!!!
