This is got to be one of the most brilliant, and saddest things i have ever saw. Just pure amazing.
The Grim. Really?
I totally enjoyed this piece as a whole. The only gripe I have is about the "Death" scene where the grim reaper appears and takes the life of the main character. The story was building up this quite real and serious tone and then the grim reaper appears and takes a life in a video game style sort of way. I was almost completely taken out of what the video had worked so well over.
Other than the reaper, the vid is striking.

It's made me think and realize alot about life, and there's only a few good flash submissions that actually make you think deep. This is one of them.
I think berlinalexanderplatz (the incoherent guy who hasn't mastered paragraphs yet) is wanting the animation to actually show him/her some emotion. I gotta say to him, the emotion and meaning doesn't come from this movie, the movie is only what inspires it. You gotta let your own imagination take control, and you'll realize what a fine piece of work this is.
All in all, well worth my time, kudos to the author. And great choice of music, it's really what made the whole thing fly.
