Reviews for "Lolcat History (Part 6/6)"

Cool but..

Does this mark the end of the Walrus King's Kingdom?! D:

jiggitysmith responds:

Temporarily perhaps ;) Like I've been saying this is only the end 'just for the time being' and 'for a while.'

The last thing I want to see at this point is another damn cat!

best one yet!

this series really got better as it went! Im amazed at hw quickly you got them all out. i didnt have to wait ages for each of them. i found this series especially amusing because of its lightheartedness and almost awkward humor (lighthearted in the senses that the plot moves along but doesnt actually attend to every aspect earlier presented). the lack of music (something only necisarry if you completely lack an attention span) had me hanging on every word, every clearly spoken word. in conclusion, this is one of the best series ive seen and am there with you, hating those assholes that dont get it. again, very well done.

jiggitysmith responds:

Well, they got out quickly because they were all completed before I started releasing them (so I could work on a DVD of it / bonus features). To be honest, I've worked about 29 out of the last 35 hours on this DVD. And it might FINALLY be ready for release possibly tomorrow (if I can get it uploaded quickly enough).

that was so funny

rofl ceiling cat ^^

'you never will'

Somewhat Dissapointing

i really dont like to give out bad reviews but i have to say, you promised better things in the later episodes, but i found things just got worse and more boring as the episodes went on. however i have given you a 3, simply because the graphics were pretty good, it was a solid attempt at a series AND the voices were some of the best i've seen on newgrounds (so clear...) however i was pretty dissapointed that this whole series, the main cat never got a title.... from watching the first episode i thought this series was going to be about his journey and then finally getting his title. and yes while i do know you addressed it at the end when he says "hey, i still didnt get a title" but i still found it dissapointing. i believe your a good flash artist and i look forward to seeing your future developments. and even though im sure you've heard this a million times, heres my recommendations for future videos.

1 - background music (please T_T)
2 - story needs to have more development and length
3 - the story should address issues presented throughout it (his title for example)
4 - even though your personal opinion was that the series got better as it went on, don't "promise" these sorts of things, because you will find people come in with expectations on what to see and are dissapointed if they are not delivered.... better to let the viewer decide whether it's good or not.

im a fair person so im not just trashing you out, i thought as a series it was a good attempt, and a good learning experiences. congrats on making a series on newgrounds and all the best for future developments.

Kind Regards

jiggitysmith responds:

While it may be your opinion that it did not get better, it is the opinion of the majority that it did get better (myself included).

I suppose you're right though. Promising that it does get better only raises expectations above what they should be.

By the way, the plot isn't important. I'm surprised so many people took it so seriously.

Hey,

Good work. As far as I'm concerned, it's an entertaining series and I enjoyed watching it. Don't worry about the kids hating on your series. Very few users on NG (including myself) have actually MADE any kind of animation. No doubt their's would be far worse than this.

Keep up the good work, and keep the laughs comming.
