i am a very big fan of this song and i was very impressed by the direction you decided to go with it. i would very much like to see it finished. i know it may be time consuming but it would be really sweet.

the fact that it is only text does not bug me, because it is done cleverly, but this submission should be completed.
Very interesting
Personally, I was fascinated by your approach in this Flash. The fluid, ever-changing text coupled with Guthrie's sprechstimme was a real stroke of genius. Even though I've heard this song countless times -- more than enough to grow bored with it on the radio every Thanksgiving -- I found the combination you've created entrancing, and was disappointed when it ended so prematurely. Doing the whole song would be a monumental feat, but I have no doubt I'd watch your version for all 18.3 minutes! Very good (if quite unfinished) work.

But 2 things bugged me: 1) You didn't finish the song. 2) It was text only. Yes I know you warned me in your comments that it was text, but I wasn't impressed and can't believe people actually thought this was good. It was nothing more than a ripped song with subtitles IMO. BTW, I loved that song when I was a kid.

Well as I said... It took me over a year to get this far... And I do plan on finishing it... I just wanted to see if it would be worth the time to finish... Its supposed to be only text... thats the point.... to see how creative i could get with just text... I don't know if you know how much effort it takes to do that... if you don't try it sometime you could learn allot from it... By using only text it cuts out the distractions of animations and shows what your really capable of bringing to life... I feel that it wasn't just "a ripped song with subtitles" as you say... In fact it was nothing like subtitles... subtitles are displayed boringly at the bottom... but this was more my piece of art work restricted in a more challenging way... I know how to animate... if you have seen my other work... so dont think I sluffed off by this flash... It was actually allot harder to complete then anything else i have ever done... Please if you give me a 0 then explain your self more... don't just judge me because you didn't like the style... Thank you...
