Nice
This is a really good remake. I remember beating this on the SNES.

Close to the actuall thing.
Well The controlls are kind of hard but I like how you made it just like how you battle bowser at the end of SMW. Great job
Thank ya.
Good old days
I liked it close to the original one but controls are hard.
All keyboard controls are hard.
Pretty good!
Yes, it was pretty good. You did a great job on the physics and controlls, a lot more playable and accurate than my games.
Still this is far from a real jump and run, as it's not tilebased (a jnr doenst necessarily need a tile based engine, but If you want to do mario, then its probably the most useful approach) , very simple collision system (there are no platforms or a world to check collision against - just the floor), no real "levels" (as I said, just the floor and the boss) etc.
Most reviews here ignored this completly, calling it a jump and run and asking for a full remake of smw lol.. On the other hand only a tiny fraction of NG users know what it all takes to create games (or in general, to program) , so you cant blame them for their ignorance I guess..
Keep it up!
True. The reason I was able to get some much stuff into Mario is because there wasn't much for him to interact with. I couldn't just take this game engine and plop it into a real platformer and have it work just like that.
Soooo Fun
Just like the old game!
