you should have something like get touched 3 times then die

those were the good ol days....

when to kill a 30 ft tall monster you jump on its head over and over :D

good idea, poor execution

You need either a different character to fight all these bosses or give mario more than just jumping on their heads maybe even just make the whole thing the boss battle with the original character they fought. just an idea. great game thought

Love the idea

I think it does have some issues though, I'll use the Gravity Man fight as an example since most of the problems showed up with him right away.

#1 Falling though sprites - In most platformer games, when you have to jump on something to damage it, you usually are thrown back after making a hit, or in the mario series, just continue to hop on thier head. A good deal of the bosses don't do either, and I end up falling into the boss and dying when it stops flashing.

#2 Game's picky - I can hit Gravity Man's head and hurt hit, but hitting the shoulders a pixel or two away awards with with another death, even though I had jumped on him.

#3 Freeze Flower - Useless, doing the Freeze thing leave me immobile like the Raccoon power-up from Mario 3 without and of the invincibility. What is this thing supposed to do?

#4 No projectile whatsoever - In many of Mario's games, we could either shoot fireballs or throw stuff to hurt peeps (Hammers if you include Mario 3! :D). He doesn't get anything here, and some of the bosses would be better fought with something to throw or shoot with.

I love the idea, you kept many of the bosses close to how they would fight, and made some challenging ones from how far I've gotten so far. Also, better store and give us a Fire Flower or bring back some of the items from older games (Time stop from Mario 2, all the powerups from 3... Feather from Super Mario World.).
