Reviews for "LOZ: SOD III"

Pretty good dude!

I can't think of anything that would make it better. It's amazing! I think you should put the song Power, Wisdom, Courage by Powerglove in the series. Just a suggestion. Anyway, keep up the good work!

Hmm...thanks, if you have a link to it, please pm it to me.

My opinion may be biased...

I'm a fan of the Zelda series, so I may have rated this higher than it deserves, but...
The combat effects need some work, and you should drop the gore completely. What's with Jafar? Evil snake-lord-wizards need jobs too I guess.
Overall it wasn't bad though.

PS - I only found the "Move It" egg. That was unexpected.

kool

FINALY the third episode is done
i agree with GoldKnightPK on the jafar sprite, dont rely fit in with the rest of the animation.
try mixing up some sprites 2 make ur own character, ive done it b4 (not in flash lol )
the episode seemed kinda short compared to the others...or i could jus be goine mad lol

boooooooooring.animation, effects and menu are good but it is soo boooooring. work on story and action

mad-dave responds:

no.

Put some work into it and grow up.

Honestly, I didn't like it. First off, you need to quit cutting corners with this series. Michael Jackson? Jafar? If you weren't trying to make a serious narrative, copy/pasting those sprites might be acceptable. But in this "serious" story, they just come off as shoddy and lazy. Assuming you took the time to render that sword at the title, there's no reason why you can't just edit some sprites to make a villain of your own.

Secondly, the blood and guts violence thing? It doesn't fit, and never WILL fit with the subject matter here. All you're doing is making ten-year-olds giggle every time a soldier gets his head lobbed off. I know fight scenes are hard to make exciting from the perspective you're given, but use your imagination! You've got some great skills, you just need to apply them!

mad-dave responds:

quit cutting corners? I worked on alot of custom stuff for this movie, yes the jafaar thing was probably a big mistake, maybe if i recolored him I would get less bitching.

To be honest, I would have considered this review valid and helpful, but a 2 rating? Come on, I seen worst shit pop up here with higher ratings than a 2.
