It's called 'raycasting'. Look it up on flashkit.com, they have tutorials and examples.

Even if the levels look kind of like Wolfenstein 3D, the old one, it is still an inventive and fun game. Would have been nice if the camera angles were a bit better, however.

The game itself very good. Its the controls that give it a downside. Maybe if you change it to keyboard controlled it could be a lot better.
The graphics seem a bit dull aswell.
All in all. A little work and you'll have a great game.

this game is amazing! it's scary without even trying to be. the whole time i was playing it, i was just waiting for something to jump out at me, but it never happened. great job, 5/5, 10/10...
