Potential for a decent tutorial
I think you have honest potential to make this into a good tutorial, but like most tutorials I think giving people code and saying copy and paste really doesn't actually teach anything. For example say I want to make additional functions and such for power ups and other things, say I want to create special boss fights, leveling systems. All of this is not explained. The best thing when making tutorials for making games you should really explain how to code. How to make code reusable and how to extend these basic games into real sized projects. Really to teach people to make games you must first teach them to program with actionscript and ensure they have a full understanding of functions, variables, and how the flash environment works with the code it is given. Also I have yet to see a tutorial show how to use the debugger to its full potential. But I have ranted enough. Decent job here but like I said try and expand your idea and fully explain everything. Good job and good luck.

Very good, but it needs some work...
The Information was good, but I think you need to work on the presentation a lot more, and break up the steps a bit more. Maybe add some pictures to make it a bit more aesthetically pleasing and less boring to read. Most people will see a wall of text and then go and look for tutorials elsewhere straight away.
Like ClumsyAssassin said, it has potential but it needs some work.

Well I thought this tutorial should be explained a bit more, but I still learned a bit from this. Add some other background to this, and make it look a bit more organized, and cool looking. Just keep up the awsome work, and hope to see some other tutorials like this one right here. :]
