The fact that I am going to listen to this for hours on end should speak for itself, but if it doesn't then I will just say that this is a masterpiece. Truly great! It did feel a tiny bit repetitive though that can certainly be overlooked. It sounded wonderful and the transition in speed was awesome.
Funny you mention repetitiveness because this song was made with the intention of creating a minimalist composition. In a minimalist type of piece or song the entire work is based on short one or two measure phrases that repeat many times and keeps adding more layers. Try listening to anything by Steve Reich, and tell me THAT'S not repetitive. It really only interests serious composers who can understand and appreciate that technique in writing. For this song, I was trying to do a more rock/pop style mixed with strong minimalist influences. I'm glad you like it, this song seems to be the fan favorite these days! The way you used the electronic sounds together with the guitar riff makes it sound great. Sounds kinda like Pink Floyd at parts.
