boring after a while

this game gets really boring after a while
you keep running from left to right and from right to left, killing enemies with your rifle, which never gets empty and waiting for the last enemy to get to the next wave ... it's too easy, and seems endless. 3 of 10

it doesn't seem endless, it is endless XD anyway i think it was pretty good for a first try
but u are right about it being pretty boring, but hey, it was for practice, i think i did pretty good seeing how most first games look like, at least i took care of my art :)

Art is good. First level, I had six enemies remaining who never showed up, so I couldn't advance. You said this is just to practice scripting, so maybe you aren't interested in making it a real game, but this looks like a decent start to a platformer if you kept adding to it.

well i plan on expanding it in other game versions and stuff making a actual platformer.
this "practice run" is actually to improve my actionscript to become better at making greater games,

and i don't think your game was brokern, i think u had lack of patience, and u made me realise i forgot to tell this in my comment.

my engine places the enemie outside the screen on random distance (the right side being very far) and also the speeds are random , so if a enemy by random gets both farrest distance and slowest speed it could take some time before it reaches the player, that is why i added the number enemies remaining, so players would know there was like one slow guy running behind.
