Reviews for "Seven Against Thebes"

Brillient

Great style of animation and the story was pretty cool. nice work keep it up

I love this!

First off, the animation, for once on NG, was actually quite good! Nice timings and stuff. Of course your stretch+squash was little amateurish, but all things considered, this was great!

Secondly, I really dug how you mixed up the angles, and did close-ups and longshots and such. The final shot was brilliant, as it zooms out rotating. A little cliche, sure, but really well excecuted.

I do have some qualms with the choice of starting with backgrounds then suddenly moving to white. I wish it was consitent one way or the other, though if you stuck with the white, I might recommend splashing in some minimalist little environmental images. Some rocks, bits of grass, and shadows coming from the warriors, to be sure. Just little pieces to make it feel complete.

Overall great attempt though, and highly entertaining. Alot better than thigns that have scored 4.00 and higher even, so be proud and keep at it. I see you going places in the future!

LoL

Like the summary. Great animation! Smooth, flowing, and worked well for an action movie with the comic scenes and battles and what not. The only thing is that you should elaborate more on the outfits of the warriors bc if I remember anything from classical studies (prolly not) that they had more gear and different outfits. But anyways great job.

Good

Very good animation, and I also enjoy all Greek stories, so yeah, all around, a very good animation. Might want to make better use of space though, there seemed to be quite a bit of "white space". Also the shading seemed to lessen towards the end.

Pretty good

Nice job on the animation, and well-depicted storyline. (Using "War" was cute.) I wish you'd gone all out and done the animation sans underpants. It was a little distracting; I'm used to Greek pottery! Overall nicely done, though.
