Good Game

I liked the game, but the controls were a little annoying.
Instead of moving your cursor to the side of the screen can you have it so that 'A' and 'D' move it from side to side? it would make it a ton better.
Also, try cutting back on the reload time and instead increase the rate of the zombie attacks.
Hope you listen, the game would be a ton better.

Could've, should've, would've been better.

No handgun on this planet with a normal sized magazine has 30 rounds in it. Maybe if it was akimbo, but not a single.

Needs more guns. A rifle with a scope would have been excellent. A fully automatic of any kind of have been nice.

Needs to give the player more control. How well I did wasn't really determined by my accuracy, it was a matter of the turn speed. Also, the turn should be made with the arrow keys, not my pointing your mouse at the edge of the screen.

The "reload" animation was just annoying. It was slow, unneventful, it blocks the whole screen, and it's not accurate to how you actually reload a gun. Thats how you UNJAM a gun.

I think the classic cookie-cutter level-based element, and upgrade elements to the game would have made this better. Where you start off fighting simple enemy types, and in between levels buying things such as weapons, health, ammo, stuff like that. As the level progresses, the type of opponents, and intesity of your arsenal increases.

A problem I found is that the game is entirely too easy for like five minute, then in a matter of 30 seconds, you get swarmed and die. Theres no in-between "Ahh I'm struggling to maintain this game.". It's always either "This is boring.. needs more enemies" or "Wtf, I don't physically have the combination of the turning speed nor the rounds in my magazine to kill everything on screen"

I know what I say is a programming nightmare, not to mention stereotypically linear to like... every base defense game ever, but it's the truth. This game just doesn't have enough gameplay elements in it.

It's boring.

very weird

the graphics and the idea are good, but the final game has some problems that games in this genre.. well, can't afford to have (anymore). first of all i didn't see any body part sensitivity. as i confronted these 2 (!- ok with modifications 3 or so) different enemy-types, i could obviously as well shoot them 1-5 times in the head untill they died. then, what pissed me off most, it ocurred that one has to exactly time the space between firing two shots in order to achieve any impact! this is one aspect which makes a shooter! another aspect are the weird difficulty differences. i decided to play the game a second time so i won't accuse anybody wrongly, and the difficulty was completely different. the first time i got single enemies thrown at me to perish untill a wave of simultaneously 10 or so, the second time it appeared more balanced. a possibility to turn off music and keep the sound fx would be also helpful. in my opinion these problems need a fix, so i can't spare more than a 3 for that.

LOL, "How to play for dummies"

How to write a How to play that doesn't treats the player as a game illiterate ;-)
"Kill the zombies with your gun, point and shoot with your mouse, your vision will rotate if you point to the edges of the screen. Reload with space."
People knows what 'health' represents and how to loose it. :-)
Good game it would be nice if you add keys to rotate the view.
Maybe I'm wrong but the reload animation seems incomplete: no cartridge loaded. Add that and make the animation faster, it will add dynamism to the game and make it more realist.
When this type of gun has fired the last bullet, the chamber ends empty, when a new cartridge is loaded nothing pops out the gun.
Keep it up!

It could have been better

It's not a bad game but it can use some more weapons and the reloding takes to long it's irritating and some more lvl's
