Reviews for "The Madness Code 2"

Holy shit...

By far the worst madness flash I've ever seen before. The animation was very choppy in places, the character skipped around without actually moving which proves that you must either be too lazy to test or don't even have any knowledge of basic tweens at all.

The music is unoriginal as it was taken from the main series of madness flash and the sound was god awful and you didn't even add in any sound for the knife-sticking parts.

DP responds:

Fine and dandy. But get some flash experience and then review me.

This was terrible!

How was it 9.1 MB? Did you use symbols? An animation as short as this should only be about 500 KB + music memory, which should at most be no more than 5 MB.

There were no feet. Feet are required for a good Madness movie. A lack of feet shows laziness. The blood and wounds were ripped from Madness Interactive; a lack of originality in both graphics and plot. The physics were terrible (use more frames in between, don't tween and make half-assed movements).

Also, if you've had Flash for a year, you should be able to animate better than that. I've had flash for a year and I'm amazing at it.

DP responds:

Sorry but i kinda laughed while reading this. Not because i think your review sucks (i don') but how many of these kind of reviews i got. Ones complaining about file size and things. All i can say is your gonna have to wait untill TMC3 to see good animation. I did not tween at all in this. But it is better. Now you might be awesome about flash. But look at me. I can put effort into things but i am a halfass type of guy when i made this.

Good News and Bad News

The good news is it's just as good as the countless sequels by Krinkels himself. The bad news is that this series jumped the shark after the first or second flash. It was cool at first but it's been done to death and it's never anything new. Poorly drawn motion tweened puppet guys fighting with decently drawn weapons. High body count, low effort. Dialog? Plot? Who needs these things. "Hero wants to kill Villain. Kills several people in different rooms with different guns but the same basic appearance. Subtract any realism, originality, character development, or plot twists. Add fight with clown and/or bearded man. Die. Repeat in sequel."

DP responds:

There was no motion tweening in this, but i think that if you think it is as good as the madness sequels than give it their scores.

Another bomb to be dropped...

If you are going to be an ass about other people who didn't like it (just because they haven't submitted anything to newgrounds).
Then I'll be the dick.

This was just as shitty as the first one...

I wrote in the last review that you should stop the "stop-motion" animation.
But you obviously didn't listen.

The story and dialogue is STILL uber lame in every perspective.

To be honest... I watched it 2 times because I wanted to find something good about it... but I coouldn't... sorry.

Advice: Do something else than Madness and devolop your own style.

DP responds:

I'd like to be the first to say that this got a better score than the first one so it can't be as shitty. And i have my own style. I just like making madness parodies.

brutal

the only good parts were the parts u copyed n pasted no skill at all sry u have to try a lil harder than that

DP responds:

Ok i think you could give a little constructive criticism. No kill sry..... I worked on this for 4 months i tried very hard. I don't think you having texts msgs in a review is very good reviewing skills. Try to actually write the words than to shorten them with msgs. There thats my constructive criticism.
