I agree with quite a few of these people
In saying that it was not great.
The thing that made the Madness series good was that it often had a tiny bit of (albeit macabre and grusome) humour in it.
This whole thing was devoid of humour (except for the scene with the fizzy drink despensor, but that was not in this collabortaion), and in some cases, good animation skill or any semblence of a well thought out fight choreography or evolution. Except for Alpha-Nuva, I think was his name, the one that had him with his hands in chains, that short (albeit short and not gory, showed some very promising drawing and animating skills.)
And this is not just in this Madness Collaboration, the other ones that you have done are not of a great quality. And in a lot of the snippets by the animators, the short is a genuinely poor quality (now this is by no means to say that ALL of the animators whould be ashamed, but it is commonplace enough to make this generalisation) fight scene.
This does not reflect much upon you as an animator, as it is not your work, BUT it does reflect poorly on your decision making.
And, to all these reviews that are slagging off you:
Fair enough, they are sometimes offensive and do not offer any suggestions.
But, you don't need to take it to heart so much.
Overall, I give you 1 thumb up out of 5, because it was not awful, but it did rank pretty high on the "Meh" scale.
And, now we come to a related topic (not to the movie) but I feel the need to speak out about this. You were rather offensive to another reviewer that you said to, and I quote, "THAT REVIEW BACK THERE WAS ABUSIVE FOR THE FINAL FUCKING TIME. IT HAD NO FUCKING SUGGESTIONS, JUST FLAMES AND HATE."
Which sounds like a pretty offensive response that was devoid of suggestions, and which was full of flame and hate.
Especially due to insults like "blind sided" (it's 'blind-SIGHTED' because they can't see, but that's just being pedantic) and another "reviews from assholes who can't tell a fork from a spoon" which, although colourfully insulting and a creative use of the English language (and I applaud your insulting prowess, I am a fan of a good swear myself. However, I digress...), was very insulting and hateful to someone who only commented that they did not like your movie.
And that reflects upon you very poorly as a human-being, making you appear I nthe wrong and the reviewer appear as an innocent who voiced their opinion.
If you cannot take criticism, please, do not get angry at others for your own short comings.
If something has happened to make you feel very resentful towards people , as you stated the you are "in no mood for this right now." then please, do not take it out on 2fish48, who, odds are, did nothing to unleash a storm of HELLFIRE against him/her.
And so, to recap this essay:
Poor quality collaboration series, I hope you can improve upon it, possibly by giving the animators a stricter 'script' for a fight scene, or by having people give you constructive criticisms, and to actually take on this criticism instead of filling responces with "JUST FLAMES AND HATE".
And, finally, lighten up.
And, if you take offence from this review, I apologise, I am merely commenting on what I have observed.
