I Agree, but a Flash Isn't The Answer!
Oy, I agree and disagree at the same time. I remember, at first, when it was just Strawberry_Clock, I would vote 0, X, whatever and give negative reviews because it really was bad. Then after "B" came all the "C" animations, the vast majority of which, just as well, are just really bad. Then I found animation by RaspberryClock and PineappleClock, and unlike other "clock" animations, they were pretty clever and well animated. Then I saw a bunch of other clock animations that sucked. I always watch the clock animations before I review them, and, unfortunately, I am more apt to see a bad one "deserving" of a 0 than a good one, but at least I view them; there are too many people who just assume a clock animation will be bad, or automatically give 0's. These are people like ki1o. Anyway, although I agree with you, you also must agree that there are many clocks who submit a lot of bad animations knowing that they are bad (why else would they do it?), and these people deserve 0's, and arguably deserve the negative label so many people give them, even if it brings down the whole clock crew. Anyway, the reason I'm giving a 0 is, couldn't this just as easily have been posted in the BBS? Granted, I never would have seen it that way since I don't use the BBS, but Flash is a forum for graphics and animation, not text messages. No matter how compelling, a text message will never get above a 0 from me for that reason. Sorry...

I see what you are saying, but that is the reason why I used flash, is because many people wouldn't see it in the BBS. I'm not critizising people who watch movies and give it a zero because it is crap. I'm critizising people who either don't watch the movie and give it a zero, or if it is an excellent movie and they give it a zero just because they are clocks.
Hate to be harsh, but...
If you want to just "make a point", then go post something on the messageboard. If you're going to do something in flash, then it had better be in a way that you wouldn't be able to accomplish in plain text.
The fact that you slapped together something this entry and just threw it up on Newgrounds doesn't make much of a point beyond "HI. I don't want to take the effort to make a good impression or statement". Honestly, you are more clear and effective in your "description" of the movie than anything else.

I totally understand your point, but this was all I could think of at the spur of the moment when I really was mad. I see where you are coming from, but I just wanted to get it out there. I'm like that sometimes, I just want to be heard. More people look at the movie than at the message board anyway.

I know I know. I made this in 5 minutes after someone accused me of being a clock and voted 0 on all my movies, including the good ones. Now, I don't really mind it, but he was accusing me in a bad way, so I got mad and wonder why people do this it is really mean. That's why I don't want to be a clock or at least not right now because people are mean to me and I hate that.
