This could be amazing
Dude, you could make a really good game out of this.
But you didn't show what the hell we were meant to do.
When the blocks came on, i thought it was a loading screen.
If i was you, i would make an instruction screen, debug it a bit, and re-submit it.

On the level
Its nice that you linked it to NG by theme, but its just not that exciting. The number of different types of blocks is good, but Maybe if you had fewer columns so it would be possible to make bigger combos it could get better. Or of you can do it set the game to have levels, so by every level the spawning of a new row would come faster? just a few suggestions.
