Maybe the orchestral music to focus the feeling...

When they use violins in pizzicatto for the tiptoe walking...
And a piano chord for the strong hits...

Good, simple art and animation, a nice looking 3D trebuchet, and a funny idea. I wasn't expecting something this full and nice looking from a file under 300k. Very nicely done.
