Reviews for "- Ambiguous"

Nice

This is me responding to your PM on youtube :P Already listened to your track in full, listening again as I write this...

This has a very unique sounding introduction, the melody is simple yet very solid. good work.

Best part of the song imo. You nailed this one pretty well. however I think it could use a bit more reverb, and possibly some more ambiance. The bells really give this song character, actually I think that the reason I like this part the best is because it reminds me of my own genre. nicely done.

0:25 when the drums hit came as a bit of a surprise you've got rhythm down pretty well, though the melody loses its focus. I think you ought to expand on it and build harmonies and melodic structure ;)

also, the percussion is pretty well done though I think it would be nice if you put some filters on it to make it more interesting. the mixing is fairly good on this too. really I don't have much else to critque except to keep building on this. It's a good song, but it could be better, greater, if you go a little further. Particularly with the melody.

at about 1:00 that breakdown is nice, but if it were me I'd make it a tad longer and bring in something new. from that point on the song doesn't seem to change much. it's like you repeated the first section.

nice ending. lol I love how when the track loops back around in the NG player it sounds like it's all seamlessly transitioned from the end to the beginning again :D

For the most part, this is good. 9/10 keep it up and keep me posted if you change anything

Or4nges responds:

Thanks so much man! Yeah I realize it's kind of repetitive, but I thought maybe the shortness of the track would make up for that :P

When I improve it, i'll be sure to tell you :D

Thanks again.

Couple new elements present!

Nice use of sound here!
Intro/Outro: The piano intro sounds awesome, and the track itself loops perfectly.
But the super long echo at the end is definitely something different.
Synths/Beat/SFX: Like I said, the piano sounds great, and at 00:24, the explosion kicks off the vocal-like synths nicely! Overall, although they are all very different, the use off all these sounds is very well-done.
Conclusion: Shortish review, I know, but hey, you got this down! Every song is original, and bears little resemblance to the previous. You are doing great man!

Or4nges responds:

The vocal thing is just that lol. I found a sample of some guy screaming and chopped it up. I've been having fun with that lately :P

Anyway, thanks so much. Even i'm surprised how many different styles of songs I can do lol. Might get a few more DnB songs out, I enjoy this style haha.

A Punch-Out fight theme remix?

In my humble opinion, this sounds like a remix of the signature fight music from the classic Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!/Punch-Out!! on the NES. I'm pretty sure that wasn't your intention to make a fan remix of that BGM, but I envision Little Mac having a spectacular, larger-than-life boxing match with Bald Bull when I hear this. Great job!

Or4nges responds:

Hahaha, I don't think i'll look at this song again the same way. I honetly havn't played the game, so no it's not a remix. But anything's possible. There's so much music out there that everything is bound to sound like something else.

Damn.

Just, Damn. This is sweet. Kudos.

Or4nges responds:

Haha, thanks man.

Damn

you just keep spitting em out left and right bro! keep it up :)

Or4nges responds:

Don't expect it to :P

I write in bursts lol.
