Nice job, I enjoyed this! My only qualm with the game is that it didn't progress too much. After the white ones appeared there wasn't much to keep it going. I would have liked to see suprises like a launch ball that splits in half after hitting the wall, or some different fireflies with bigger hit areas.
It functions pretty well as a minigame, though, and I played it all the way through, which is something I don't usually do with a puzzle game.

There have been some, but they either lack graphic design, gameplay, or both.

i kind of wish there were more things like the mines though... like speed boosts, things that made the shot split into two or four shots etc... it might have added to the depth.
all in all, very nicely done.
