Reviews for "[oove] Requiem"

I found the orchestral music very nice. However, I do think that the dubstep side is a tad too grainy and metallic in some areas. Overall it was a nice track!

I quite enjoyed this track. If I had voted without hearing the ending, I would have given 5 stars, no question. That said, I found the ending quite out of place in the song, which was otherwise a perfect mix of dramatic and aggressive (two very vague descriptions, I know). I sincerely hope that at some point you consider making a remix without the "gimmick" (as others have described it); I feel that the song would be far better without it. Either way, keep it up with this genre!

I'm not a dubstep guy at all, but I'm digging this, which is a victory for you in and of itself. Anyway, since I'm out of my element, I'll only say this one thing ... ok two things.

1. I don't like the (suprise?) ending. It sounds like something an experimenting high schooler does to make his sub-par song "cool." You sir, are too good for gimmicks.

2. How are you not writing music professionally? If you're not, you should be. Yesterday.

I wasn't a dubstep guy either, but now for some strange reason I start to like it more and more.

People's thoughts really divide on the ending, but that's fine, because it sounds right to me.
As of the professional writing... if it happens, it happens. I'm not looking for anything really, I just like to make music, and I'm very glad that people enjoy listening to it.

Thank you for listening and your reviews.

Flawless!

Dude, this is one of my favorite art pieces I've ever seen! I think its strongest point is that it takes its time starting off to becoming more insane. It grows in ridiculousness as it goes on. When I first heard the name "Requiem" I was thinking of the movie "Requiem For A Dream" which was known for its awesome fast paced music. This certainly fit the bill and I love how it changes right before the end. I was expecting sort of a joke to follow, but it simply continued being awesome.

It's songs like this that make you appreciate the existance of instruments like violins. Its tone appears to be one of madness or simply disorder. It has somewhat of a mechanical tone to it as well. The mechanical tone can also shift to become one of technology leading to computers. There is simply a great story to tell here, even though there are no words. It truly gives off the sense that you went on a great journey yourself to make this.

I'm really glad you liked it. Thank you for dropping a review.
