Touching.
Very touching indeed, beautiful. Perfect visuals for the song. :-) I figured what that last stone might become - it almost looked like I was wrong for a moment, until "One Year Later" appeared on the screen. Great work! :-)

thanks Uriah..one scene we thought about was having the niece kneeling at the gravestone and she gets up and puts that last stone into place! it would have been a nice touch i think but we ran out of time and had to finish the flash (if not the wall)
Nice Animation
It was really well put together all around. Very attractive visuals, great timing and syncing with the song, and really great job with the main character-- he was a very strong sympathetic figure very quickly.
The only problem with this flash is kind of a big one-- someone already mentioned it. The ending. It was sudden and violent. I realize that he has to die, because that is the point of the flash, but at the very least remove the sound effects.
Aside from that (overall, really) it was a really nice flash and anyone would be warmed to have this dedicated to them.

I've watched this animation more then a dozen times, and I still think its awesome. And I don't see how the "timing" was off on any of this. I liked the song as well, and you worked it perfectly with the animation...great job

It was a great animation to the song. I really liked the sound effects for the rocks being placed and the features of the man's face were excellent. I did not really enjoy the man making sounds when he died, I believe it was a bit unnecessary and did not fit with the rest of the flash. Overall well done.

thanks Berrek..we tried the death scene without sounds and it didnt have the same intensity - but tracking down a decent 'moan' was difficult and i think if we could improve on that it would be good.
