Anika's stupidity
Well, where can I start? The game has rich, bold, flavorful graphics. The enviornments are just amazing to look at. It's incredibly sad that all this time and effort was placed into making the game look amazingly beautiful, but the game's control mechanics are just plain frustrating and not helpful. Scrolling around the map with such a limited amount of space looking for an object you can use is useless. It is a point-and-click game, but at least in other games there are more options to choose. Just one or two objects around the game is just a little too obvious. I mean, it IS a point-and-click adventure, but there's no challenge except the challenge of not getting frustrated with the useless control mechanics. There is no pause menu and no anything. Take notice that the backgrounds may look awesome, but the character visuals and water animation is just mediocre. Poor AI is another letdown, and just running around talking to strange creatures that look like the sh*t of a carebear trying to retrive a bunny that your grandmother could easily make again makes the poor storyline another letdown. Any dialouge is out of the question (unless weird laughing is your kind of dialouge) which could actually make you forget why you were playing the game in the first place. The game is brilliant in background visuals, but the poor reconstruction of the game's engine and no toolbars to help give you no chance of liking the game AS much as you would like to.
