Reviews for "Brick! 2"

An interesting take on Breakout

This game gets mad hard after a while. If you added some powerups and extra lives, and perhaps made the cursor invisible, this would be a really high-quality game

5/5 - 8/10. Great job, and I hope to see a sequel ;)

daperson1 responds:

You will see a sequel, as soon as my schoolwork lets me - i'm only 14, it makes things rather hard :(

hmmmm

no, i dont think this is what i meant with "explosive tiles". ill give u an explanation: The explosive tile is a special tile that damages/removes all the surrounding tiles, including black ones. and the back button on the level editor is completely GLITCH. u cant get outta the select user level screen. since the game is just the same as the one before except the exploding tiles and the pacman-style ball it gets the same score.

daperson1 responds:

Ah.
Will do it for Brick3!

it was good

good game, but at the end of the day its a brick game and they have been used loads, it was a good concept to use a ball which dropped, but it got too fast and i couldnt control it. but liked it, make more =]

daperson1 responds:

I did. Look at brick3.

Really good.

Better than the first one. The only thing I don't know if it was a good idea, was turning the ball into the Pac-Man. The level editor works much better, and I like how you can name the levels now. The only thing is, I think the background could have been better, I can tell easily how it was made. It's great that now you can view user levels in-game, instead of having it navigate to the webpage, which was annoying. Really great game, but can have a few graphical fixes, and some features. After all, it's only breakout.

daperson1 responds:

PAc man is... different :P.

Nice Job

Nice job again, just another thing encrypt your scores data its pretty easy also set a limit or a word wrap also make scores numerical values only. It shouldest be hard to detect edits if you use some sorts or encryption also add a couple fields when you do this that do absolutely nothing but look like the real info.

daperson1 responds:

The score system was updated for Brick!3, thank you for your concern.
