pretty chillin....

not bad......but kinda shorter than the usually expected xiao.....

Worries on the Horizon

Your _Xiao Xiao 3_ was a massive breakthrough for the "fight" genre of flash animation on this site. Wickedly choreographed and inventive, it truly blew away feeble pretenders steeped in the braindead "Dragonball Z" style.

This flash is a nice build off the style first seen by my in _XX3_. The fighting is once again intense, and the humor is no longer done entirely with a deadpan ("200 T"), which shows some good comic range. My only extremely minor complaint is that I think the movie could have done a little better with the death gag -- I laughed quite a bit at first, but afterwords I couldn't detect any rules for their after-death fighting. I think it would be funnier if there were understandable, determined, but ridiculous rules for how these people fight after death. What does "spiritual" warfare look like? What weapons can they produce out of thin air and what can they not? That sort of thing.

I'm also a bit worried that the intense-fight style developed in _XX3_, if not built on and incorporated into larger narratives, could become old real fast.

On the whole, another excellent portal entry.

That was the sheezy

This is a great movie. As good as No.3? Hess no, but better than the other 2? u bet

its was good, but not the best

Although I enjoyed this, I have a feeling that you got really impatient with it, or had no idea how to end it. Either way, it was good up to the ending, then it got kind of dull. I agree that using that hammer would drift toward stickdeath, as opposed to the XIAOXIAO series, but then, why put it in at all.

it was ok... if you're into dragonball / mortal combat / street fighter -style fights where people use magic and "special moves" to pull off stunts that are more to make you say "hehe, that would suck, man... you know, like, if that happened to me" but are otherwise not believable.

I'm not. I prefer my fights to be more kung fu and less looney tune.

fan of xaio xaio (1&3 anyway) but not a fan of sequals that take away from the original >.<
