The beginning, though I would have liked to hear more of a buildup, was fantastic. The piano bit before the trumpet transition was great. To me, the transition into the trumpets wasn't as good as I would have liked, but it was still well done. And the piano bit at the end was very well done as well.
To me, the whole song lacks the certain "oomph" that the WIP has, which, to be honest, left me a bit disappointed; but it's still a beautiful song.
All in all, this is easily your best piece I have heard, and I look forward to hearing more from you.

I am aware of the transition into the trumpet part, and i tried to fix it, but i failed to smoothen it out completely. It's good that you liked the piano bits because i worked my ass off to get those parts to sound good o.O

I guess i get what you mean. The WIP was still unperfected and this retained a certain beat to it which i removed in order to make the song more delicate as i thought it should be. Thanks for thinking its still a beautiful song though :D

So anyway, thanks for the really helpful and supportive reviews, i'll be sure to keep you posted on any later submissions, although the music will be taking another break due to a large set of exams coming up. Also, sorry for the delay in replying but i've been real busy this week.
This is the fist time I've commented o a song and I'm no musician...but I just have to say that this song touched something in me. I've been going though some tough times: loss of a job, my folks are sick and just alot of other stuff has been heaped on my life and I was almost at the point of giving up...until I heard this song.
There is somethng about it that says to me that there is a light at the end of this tunnel...you're almost there, don't give up. I want to thank you for this song and giving me the inner strength to stand back up and know that I WILL get though this and that all I need is a little bit of faith and nothing is impossible. Thank you again!
I'm pretty certain this is the best song I've ever heard on Newgrounds! I especially love the first smooth yet strong rise in amplitude (for want of a better word) @0:45! As for criticism: I've got nothing!
I could see this coming out in a movie with how epic of quality this is.
Some extremely minor attempts to change this song were it my own however, would be to:
1. Alternate the techno sounding synthesizer with a more appropriate instrument to the songs general theme.
2. Add a fermata to the resolution at the end of the piece or manually elongate it somehow.
Just some tips musician to musician, what you have done here my friend - few can accomplish much less surpass, thank you.
