It's interesting and somewhat nostalgic
It does sounds like something from some games I used to play. A mix of adventure and battle to some extent. This can also be used for "build-ups to something". Though as you named it Blue Marine, now I am visualizing some naval traveling game, where you use a speedboat and it can jump.

Reminds me of the music from Turtles in Time, guess it's mostly because of the "hit" sound and upbeat tempo. Great melodies and enjoyable lead sounds makes it a song that's worth keeping on repeat for an hour or two :)

As the title says, this piece certainly has an excellent tune; the fiddling with the bass at 0:54-1:04 and 2:19-2:29 is particularly catchy, as is its "reprise" with the saw wave. The only things about this song I found particularly objectionable were the orch-hits that occurred throughout, which sounded kind of disruptingly artificial, and the lead at 0:33-0:42 (for example) tended a bit to the grating side of things. These are, of course, small nitpicks. Overall, great work.
