Nice ! Again :D

Your works are always good, so i don't have to say much. I'd like to compose like you someday, or maybe better :P

MarkySpark responds:

Well, anyone can do it as good.

Everyday...

I feel like that everyday, Mark. Especially when I think of my past mistakes and realise that until I do something with my life, my mistakes and short comings are all I have...

Wonderful piece, Mark. Could I use it to compose a poetry video?

MarkySpark responds:

use away my friend.

Pretty nice

I'm all about constructive criticism so here goes: I like your overall composition, the pause in the middle is quite nice, and the very quiet and moody conclusion is extremely well done and sensitive. BUT I don't know how much piano you've played because it sounds like you're holding down the sustain pedal too long whenever the piano is playing solo, and the notes are bleeding together too much. Normally a pianist would raise the sustain at minimum with every chord change (not counting transposed chords).

The only other improvement I can suggest would be to pick a more pleasing chord progression starting at :34. I think you're playing E7, C7, G7, F7, and to this listener the move into G7-F7 is a little bit awkward. This is maybe a situation where the composer should listen to his music in a different room or setting to get a new perspective on it (a really hard thing to do at times). I always ask myself when making my music, if some other dude had written this, would I like to listen to it?

But don't get me wrong...overall it's a nice piece and the sensitivity you've shown here indicates you can do great things in the future, so please make some more!

MarkySpark responds:

Thanks for the constructive criticism, it's always valuable.
