MilkMan-Dan responds:

Yes I know this does get annoying if u listen to it a thousand times... but so do many songs ;). As for you getting a keyboard... DO IT!... it's the best decision you'll ever make. :).

amazing

You're good at playing piano, but in addition to that, you know music very well, and you seem to have a good attitude too. i was amazed when i heard this. before i conclude, i just wanna ask you some questions, and i dont mean it to be like some sort of interrogation, i'm curious about ur musical background, my questions are:

1. Name a few things you grew up listening to, it can be whatever, the name of the musician/singer, genre, etc.
2. What piece(s) of music do you consider very good/well-made? i know "very good" is a broad term, but what i mean is what do you think is considered a technically well-sounding, well-made song, not your favorite (well, coincidentally it might be or might not), but you know what i mean? Also, it can be more than one song, in fact, the more you list the better.
3. (NOW...) What is your favorite piece of music? meaning what do u enjoy listening/playing, completely based on personal preference, it can be horrible technically (or it might not, but i'm just saying this to make a point), but to you, it is good in its own way since it might have special meaning, hence it being your favorite. again it can be as many songs as you want to list. Also, why is it ur favorite?
4. Who's your favorite musician(s)/artist(s), and why?

As i've stated, you can choose as many songs or musicians as you like, and again it would be better if you did because the more you list, the more it helps to understand how you see music as. ur very talented, from what i've read in ur responses, a lot of it has to do with your love for music, and more importantly what it represents. I hope you respond to these questions in detail, you're a great musician, and if you ever learn to read and write music in musical notation, combined with your talents, you'll become an even more amazing musician. thanks for reading this, and good luck with everything

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Woah... well... lets see here... this is quite the brain teaser.

1) My musical influences were things by Bach, and Beethoven. And the very first piece I ever learned to play on the piano was the "Adigo Moonlight Sonata". I grew up listening people like Michael W. Smith. Frankly... all I ever did was listen to the Original scores of movies. Any movie. I'd search for it's background music if I liked it :).

2) My most adored piece is "To The Stars - Hans Zimmer". That piece.. drives me up and down the wall. It's quite literally perfect. I can't say much more about it.

3) Well... what I like listening to. This varies... always. But I couple come to mind. Collide by Howie Day is always nice, and the score to the computer game Myst 3 is beautiful. While mostly... I listen and enjoy my own music. It grows on me :). I love to sit down and bask in what I've accomplished.

4) My favourite artist, Hands Down, is Hans Zimmer. His work is above all the most beautiful collaboration of orchestra work I have ever seen. It Varies from Long beautiful pieces to simple and effective pieces that make you wanna cry.

Guess thats it... wow man... really got me thinking there... thankyou for the awsome review and the interest in my personality. :)

A nice change of pace

This song was pleasantly different from your previous work. It had a very nice feeling to it. It made me think of the type of calm background music used in The Sims.

I'd like to see some more of this kind of music. This piece was too short! =)

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Pleasantly different... hmmm... I guess it's the Bass notes I used. Well I'll try and incorporate some of that in my future work. More of this though... lol... not easy :P. Thanx for the review.

deeper notes

I'd say the deeper notes really lifted the piece. I do this quite a bit too in my free time, pick a key and just play in it at random... sometimes the results are good, sometimes its enough to make gods cry in sorrow, but regardless its nice ^^.

MilkMan-Dan responds:

haha now you got me curious... I'm gunna check out some of your work. Looks like you've had a brush with Omegas Eye as well. :)

absolutely fascinating.

For something that was just played be year, this is absolutely amazing.

I love the left hand notes, so cool ^^.

MilkMan-Dan responds:

hehe... I'll tell you a secret. EVERYTHING I write is played by ear. I don't know how to read music at all, I've never had lessons. But I'm glad you liked my lil experiment. Thanx for the review.
