Reviews for "War On Terrorism"

Probably True To Life...

This movie was somewhat different than the other multitude. It had a great deal of killings in it, stuff that I normally think is wrong, and I hope other people do to. But then again, the people were shooting at you, so it's kill or be killed. All except on sniper mode, that is... Also, I like that it did not feature the death of bin Laden. Not because I like terrorism or anything, but because, as I said, I think killing is wrong, whether it be done by a psychotic terrorist or an American soldier. Also, seeing how vicious and how hateful and angry people have become in the wake of Sept. 11th, that they would be willing to do all sorts of evil and vice just to satiate their own vengeful desires. I think it's sad for any people anywhere to call for the deaths of another person or nation, and I think other people feel the same whenever they watch the news and see it happening to someone else. And I can't seriously believe any justice would be done with that much anger involved. Your film captured, for the most part, what I hope for, that bin Laden will be captured and handed over to the tribunal, who I hope will lock him away for a very, very long time. My only objection was to the little melee to have a "tension-release" prior to handing him over...

Yet, the reason I didn't give a higher score than a two was because of the principle that was behind the thing, and that was a War on Terrorism. I disprove of this current war that we are doing on numerous grounds. First of all, this isn't a war on a country, this is a war on an abstract concept. And we all know how successful other like wars on concepts have done, such as our War on Crime or War on Drugs. If there's no set enemy (for example, saying that we are against al Queda and bin Laden and not against terrorism in general), that leaves free reign for all sorts of mischief and bloodshed. Who will we target next? Who shall we consider mere collateral in the name of self-interest? We aren't the only nation in the world, and if we go around ransacking the entire Middle East in search of enemies, not only will the results probably be less than satisfactory, but we will have made a host of new enemies who'll be ready to do a lot worse than Sept. 11th against the United States for the lack of concern for collateral or human life. And if we went around piling up corpses by the hundreds in trying to defeat our enemies, I don't see how that would make us any better than a person who piles up over 3,000 dead people when attacking the economy of the United States. And still, I'm sorry, but it is foolish to think that one can rid the world of terrorism. Not only would the methods employed only encourage more, but the simple fact that there will always be differences of opinion, and the more extreme and fanatical on the sides of the opinions, will ensure that there will always be terrorists so long as there's evil in peoples' hearts. There are terrorists against the US in THIS country. Perhaps we should bomb our own states to have the citizenry hand them over, for they are obviously sheltering them. I could go on, but I'm not going to take anymore time. Still, the graphics were very good.

This is actually the first flash game I have ever played. Holy hell, is it rough
