That was amazing...
I was sitting there thinking... what to rate this when I was done watching. I felt a little sad. Then all of the sudden.... well I won't give it away for anyone who didn't watch.
You made me Laugh out Loud. Despite the mediocre graphics, it was amazingly funny

I didn't expect that. An amusing touch and a well made movie.
Two things I noticed:
Firstly, the frame by frame when she is opening the envelope wasn't particularly well done. If the framerate is high, it might be worth only animating every other frame. This usually isn't very noticeable and makes frame by frame easier. Just try to be neater really.
Secondly, I think you overused the blur filter. Try just adding more detail to your backgrounds so you don't have to overuse filters to make them look better. Maybe use bitmap masks to give texture to object.
I made this when I first got Flash 8, so I overused the blur filter, cause it use to not be an option.
Kinda like how you play with the toys you get on christmas morning, more than the older ones. :P
