Reviews for "Super Ninja Strike"

good, but flawed

this was a good game overall. Th graphics were good, the gampley was ok (more on that later), and the style was also good. THe problem lied with the gameplay. initially it seemed solid, but then some problems showed themselves. It was frustrating that you could not shuriken people just off the screens edge. perhaps give the shurikens a range of just over the length of the screen. The problem that bothered me the most was the mechanics of the double jumping and the stones. I would jump right on the stone, but it would register as water. The double jumping is also frustrating, often it will not do a double jump even though I hit the button twice.

overall pretty good

cool.

epic game. awesome controls, awesome everything. vote 5.

Buh...

Seems like you had a good idea and the graphics and all are nice but the controls sometimes seem strange and it all moves way too fast for me.

You have to dodge knives with the sword, ok if you know when they're coming. But when you are in-game, just running, it is goddamn hard to react fast enough, and hit the right key.

Good idea, but somewhat poorly executed.

Ummm...buggy.

I fell off the beginning ground underneath and so really couldn't play the game the first time around. After that I found the controls too sensitive and downright unplayable sometimes. Not bad, but its got issues.

It is Sort of Like Those Shinobi Games Sega Made.

From the timed sword deflecting techniques to the crates and booby crates, this games borrow alot from games like Sega's Revenge of Shinobi, even the difficulty. It is a little too cheap sometimes. Enemies come out nowhere giving you little time to react. I would also like a password feature please. However, a game like this is one that players should stick with because the joy comes out of mastering it.
