Has a few bugs to work out
For example, those disappearing white platforms aren't really platforms at all. I can never land on them.

and when you are in the air and you are about to touch a coin press up when you touch it you will jump in mid air

By the looks of it, im guessing you used the platformer tutorial on kirupa.com. The game was pretty good, character is different .
this has alot of potential
in the next update/follow up u should:
1.(maybe) put more songs(that one isnt bad but it gets repetitive)
2.dont jump that high or fall faster
3. put a background
4.take out those coins just above the "abyss"
P.S: i dunno if its normal, but sometimes u can walk on the bottom of the screen

1. There are 3 songs, first 3 levels, the boss levels and the last 3 level are all separate tracks.

4. Or, you can try and jump off of them to collect them ... or walk off the platform then jump in midair as you get them.

Well it was an A-Okay game I suppose. The controls ran smoothly for the majority of the time but like in the first level, you can walk behind the stairs where you start out. And, if your jumping and you go above the screen, when you fall you'll go right through the platform. Other than that it was pretty entertaining. But I mean, you could maybe add a story or maybe a cooler backround. Well good luck next time.

Yea the walking into the platform was intentional, for instance in the 6th level all of the platforms are partially transparent so you can see yourself inside of them.
And there are secret coins behind those stairs (and in some other blocks o.o)
