the intention was there
here are some things u could improve:
1.we shouldnt go trough platforms
2.we shouldnt die because of stepping on a crusher if he is on the ground
3.WAY too short
4.because its not that original, i suggest u put in a twist like side-scrolling levels with powerups for example

bad collisions
if I bump into the bottom of I platform, I teleport. If I jump on the top of the squisher thingy then i die. It also needs to restart the current scene if I die instead of the game.
Whatever.
needs more levels
a good start for a flash game, although things like this have allready been done, but what this game better is simply more levels.

Its a little incomplete but it was mildly entertaining!
some advice:
1. collison detection was a tad sketchy, i didnt think i meant to pass through the platform when i jumped at it from below?
2. you should have it to where if you tap the "up" button quickly the ball does a little jump and if you hold the button, it will do a bigger jump.
3. you need to make it longer!
Overal you did good, the music was great, and the graphics were mediocere!
Okay. But the graphics? Mediocre!? I worked long and hard on the graphics!
