Awsome
I love this song, and I think that the South Park canadian characters joke is funny.
Really Funny
that was funny, even though it was making fun of my country. the only thing i didnt like was the snow part.... people steryotipe us about getting too much snow and say we live in igloo's. its not true. we have big cities
yaa
i thought this was quite amusing, but seriously i would rather be a canadain than a fat violent mcdonalds eating retarded american, no offence to all amaricans, only the fat ones
Great music video for a great song.
Many may not know it, but Weird Al was not actually targetting Canadians so much as Green Day. If one listens to Green Day's "American Idiot," many will notice that GD is constantly stereotyping all of America as the bottom 10% in actuality. Weird Al did the exact same, except with Canadians (to be honest, anything about Canada has ten times the potency to be funny compared to most other countries when talked about in length, except for the American legal system).
Thus, if a Canadian is offended by this song, just remember that it is a parody of an actual song, which offended just as many Americans (if not more due to population differences).
On a separate note, this music video has to be the best (and damn well near the only one) for Canadian Idiot. Thank you very much for this contribution.
