Pathetic.
I've also reviewed this pathetic excuse of a game on Fizzy.com. My name there was Dakilven.
This has got to be the glitchiest game i've ever played. Completely NOT worth the nineteen dollars I had to waste to buy it. Every time i've finished a battle, it would randomly freakin' freeze and I'd have to do it all over again.
Here's some statistics:
Appeal 7/10: Looked very good at first, but oh god how much of a disappointment it was later on.
Gameplay 0/10: Each chapter was a repeat of itself, FIND X SO WE CAN GET X COLOSSUS, KILL X'S CASTLE OR CAMPAIGN ARMY, CONTROL X (or amount of) REGIONS. I paid 19$ for a literal copy of itself.
Combat 2/10: While it was fun for my archers to completely decimate my enemies, it gets very bland and one-sided after a while. Also, sending out one battalion of my army to fight the other's battalion was veeeeeeery god damn boring.
Story 8/10: I absolutely loved reading the defeat and/or victory messages after a chapter. S&S's story is very fun to read if it wasn't thrown down by pathetic games
Fun 3/10: Look, I said that this was a repeat of itself before and I won't be a hypocrite by repeating myself as well. It just gets VERY god-damn bland after two chapters.
Quality 1/10: A game plagued by poor animations, pathetic reskins of units, and just being so boring. Seriously, you couldn't even make them attack right. Instead, you just made them swing their weapon up and down and up and down and up and down.
Every S&S game after the second one is NOT worth purchasing, people.
