Reviews for "Sweet Satisfaction"

great

Im commenting via a cell phone...do not have access to a computer but luckily my phone has flash so i can listen to this beautiful music... i especially like this song a lot more than your previous songs...seems more refined and with some of your previous work there seems to be that pause due to improv. This song should definately be at the end of a major motion picture i hear no flaws just music perfection :) never stop making music your one of the few reasons why i come to newgrounds! Keep up the amazing work!

Thankyou very much, I'm honoured.

Hauntingly beautiful.

The song feels like a story, like maybe this satisfaction was not as sweet as hoped. It's like an irreparable damage has been caused by my own hand. Something I felt I wanted, but now realize that all I've done is push the things I loved away. especially the fading at the end feels like the memories fading from my mind.

Perhaps I analyze too deeply, but once again you have captivated me with this song. You have a new fan, absolutely a beautiful song.

Every now and again someone comes along and gets it perfectly correct. Thank you very much.

Evocative and memorable

I don't know that I've come across you before (I don't look in the audio section as often as I'd like, owing to time). That said, I'll be keeping my eye on you. Well done.

MarkySpark responds:

I will be keeping one eye on you too ;-)

Amazing

This piece is simply amazing. The combination of synths and strings at the beginning was brilliant. that is a combination you hardly ever hear and the way it fades into piano is seamless and perfect and just as Cael87 said, there is a story deep in the music that is projected effortlessly. What i love most about your music is the emotion and passion that you put into it. :)

Thankyou greatly!

Astonishing, Sad,

The strings to slow, calm piano as I said is astonishing. Every key, every little detail is just amazing and beautiful.

A young kid, growing. his father and mother split, he finds out his mother died a while later. A tear runs down his face while in the corner of his bed. His father beats him while drunk. He ran as fast as he could to the nearest escape of his life. He is 18 and has moved out.
Depressed and alone he moves as far away to star anew. He looks back at his miseries and keeps on walking on. No company of friends, not even in a pack. he is alone and is depressed. He gets mugged and beaten and tries to stay inside all day. At a new town he finds love.
He forgets the past problems and mistakes as a child. As he walks toward the woman to ask her out, he is worried she would not except him because of his life scars. In front of the lady he greets her. they begin to attach and start dating. He takes her out after a few years, And asks her to marry him, she says yes. Only to find out a few weeks later that she is cheating on him, and she broke up with him. Alone he sits inside of his house wanting to be accepted, he decides to commit suicide.
He puts the noose around his neck and writes a note. before he kicks the chair someone opens the door. Its his love, she wants to get back together. He says yes. Three years later they are married and had two kids. They watch their kids grow up. Their children now old enough to move out leave to a new city.
The man and woman are living in a house on the mountains holding each other forever. Remembrance of their love together they die in each others arms, happy.
