Simple & Basic, but that doesn't mean bad.
Whenever one of these games comes out people complain about how the idea is unoriginal, it takes no skill, blah blah blah. But so what? Does that mean it's automatically not fun? When a movie comes out should the creators make it boring just so it's unlike any movie ever made? No, they make it funny and enjoyable so people will want to watch it. If that wasn't true we wouldn't get remakes of movies all the time. I liked it. It's more fun than a lot of Pong games I've played. The music and weird electirc ball were great. Maybe add in power ups or things though, to up the fun-o-meter even more.
