that was a pretty nice game... and thanks a bunch for the instructions.. otherwise i really would've been screwed in this one. this game here was quite a lot of fun, nice audio in it, good gameplay and your efforts were pretty good. this RockOut contest sure is bringing out some awesome stuff.

Im all up for your easy to play game, that you apperntley cant lose, but this is just missing something flashy. Where is the "PLAY THIS!!" type of slogan or artwork? No where. And that in my opinon hurt the graphics score. The graphics themselves werent bad its just that they werent great ether. They looked smooth and sleek, but nothing that another above average flash artist couldent do. The gameplay itself was also quite boring, even with music and the end result just wasent that great. Above average game.
Personally, I believe this game is a lot more original than most of the other contest entries just because it has something new to offer. The others all seemed to play like DDR, play to avoid things, or not even incorporate synching music. By integrating the rudiments system, this game has something new and fresh to play with. If you take the time to learn the rudiments, use them to your advantage, and really get lost in the rythyms of the music, I think you will find yourself doubting your own criticism about the originality.

I liked it, Music destraced me alittle, i ended up just listening to the music rather than playing the game.

Theres nothing special about graphics, just the notes. For style theres always the thing that this submission is something new for newgrounds. For sounds... Lets see, theres the music, you could make the arrow keys add a little drumms that would modify the sound of the music, and if it sounds just like the song (right moments and drum) than you get more points, I liked the songs you could play. Theres no violence, but this one doesn't require it. For interactivity, its a game so 5 right there :) Theres not much I can say about the humor tab, the submission does get boring after a while, but its still cool to play, I always think the right key is "+1 up" and the left key is "+1 down" so it makes the sounds in the song, that way its funnier. Overall, you did a great job on the submission, but could make a far better job on it. Even though I did really enjoy playing this, you phail at meeting my requirements, but after playing this game, I feel like protecting it from the trash can, so I can play in the future, so from me, you get protected :) Good job on the flash, hope you continue to make little flashes like that, I really like those ;]
